When news hit that Terrence Howard was replaced by Don Cheadle in the next Iron Man installment, fans experienced thirty seconds worth of shock. The story was Howard was axed because he was holding out for more money but in an interview with NPR, Howard said he learned about the news the same way we common folk did.
It was the surprise of a lifetime. There was no explanation. [The contract] just…up and vanished. I read something in the trades implicating that it was about money or something, but apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren’t worth the paper that they’re printed on, sometimes. Promises aren’t kept, and good faith negotiations aren’t always held up.
Breaking up via third party sources is always tricky. Especially when the person you’re breaking up with knows where you live and may have a trash can or two full of used baby wipes to tp your house with.

Whoops again. Piclens/Cooliris is not for mac only, there’s a Windows version too, as pointed out in the comments by Luna from Cooliris. You can download all the different versions here. It comes in different flavours too, not just Firefox, but Safari (great!), and IE (shudders).
Watch CBS’s The Big Bang Theory. I just finished watching the first season, having been introduced to TBBT in United Airlines’ inflight entertainment.
TBBT stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar as the 4 geeks, and Kaley Cuoco as Penny eyecandy. (The above photo is not accurate as she’s rounder, much rounder now.) The geeks’ hobbies include comics and action figures btw. And going to comic cons, which the show did this year. Roseanne’s Sara Gilbert occasionally shows up as 5th geek. Singapore doesn’t air this, so look for other means.
After a long battle with cancer, Michael Turner passed away at the age of 37 on 27 June 2008. Condolences can be send thru:
